Since its inception, Madertec has worked to achieve high quality levels, by means of totally administering it's complex productive process, from the selection of seeds and care of the forest, from selecting the wood to processing the raw material. In its determination to ensure quality, MADERTEC monitors every aspect of its operations, from the planting of the seeds to the care of the forest and the processing of the wood, applying the best methods and using modern technology. MADERTEC also utilizes manual labor, where necessary and competent teachers, craftsmen and the best quality materials, all combined to dazzle with a perfect finish.

Madertec, conscious of its institutional responsibility, has been producing articles of great quality, respecting and helping in the conservation, preservation and the maintenance of the biodiversity of the environment; consequently, the company has implemented a new business strategy that embraces fronts. First, the productive process which was reformulated to optimize the lumber resources and to use components with a low degree of contamination. Additionally, it was decided that efforts would be made to restore the lost natural balance, enabling reforestation of 50 hectares per year, with 55,500 seedlings. Today, MADERTEC has designated a substantial part of its capital to reforest private forests of exotic varieties, denominated USED SPECIES LESS.

MADERTEC, in its eagerness to contribute to the maintenance of the natural resources of the region, takes advantage of these species in its productive process collaborating to reduce the traditional wood in operation, wood like the mahogany and the cedar.

Madertec produces more than 25,000 caskets for the Caribbean and European markets. In order to maximize the capacity of its manufacturing capability, at the beginning of 2005, a decision was made to establish a presence in the North American market, creating a new line of coffins, specifically to fulfill goals, always maintaining the high standard of quality of the European market. For example, the productive process is highly industrialized, which allows the arming of caskets without using metal nails; this is done by utilizing system of joint and specific plastic souls, which guarantee a greater resistance and durability.

All of MADERTEC's products are made of 100% hardwood and is put under a drying process at the furnace, to sterilize and reduce the risks of splits and twists in the finished product. The caskets are finished externally, using polyester and polyurethane that make them resistant to scrapes and scratches, with pores totally sealed. The interior is elaborately finished, using crepe and velvet, stuffed with poly-fiber, sewn skillfully in all their details.
